Description
Finished the marten soft mount.
He really was tanned pretty bad and not really made for being mounted in any way. But I tried it anyways.
The body really turned out very well and I had no problems soft mounting it or sewing it.
But the face was really a horror :/ Very very hard to mount because the leather was very stiff and it didn't soften very good even though I rehydrated it one day or so. Well...the result is:
-no turned ears, so they look a little wavy
-one eyelid was ripped, so the eyes aren't very symmetrical
-couldn't shut the mouth completely so it is opened a little bit. Lips weren't split very good either.
But I really love its fur and the colour <3
